Get Better Faster and Back to Work
We work closely with the employer, adjuster, case manager and physical therapist to insure we are always communicating effectively with the entire Work Comp Care Team. We firmly believe communication is the key to successful management of the injured worker.
This knowledge has allowed us to develop a plan of care specific to each patient’s needs that often results in a more rapid recovery and return to work.
Clear Communication
- Expediting office notes to the Work Comp Care Team (employer, adjuster, case manager, and
physical therapist) in order to facilitate the approval process for recommended treatment. - Providing a work status report immediately following the office evaluation. The patient receives their report at the same time we are sending the report to their Work Comp Care Team.
- Outlining and communicating a detailed treatment plan for returning the employee to work and an expected MMI date to the Work Comp Care Team.
- Explaining expectations to each patient so they have a clear understanding of their treatment. Understanding the expectations gives the patient more confidence in the care of their work injury. We are always focused on the goal of getting them better so they can return to work.
Specialists in Orthopaedic Surgery, Occupational Medicine and Workers’ Compensation
The highly-trained physicians at Motion Orthopaedics have extensive experience and understanding of Workers’ Compensation. We recognize that the injured worker may feel uneasy seeing a physician who was chosen by someone other than themselves.
Our main goal is to build rapport and trust with your employee so they understand that their care is a priority to us. We treat every patient with the care and compassion they all deserve. We are committed to getting them back to their pre-injury status and back to work as quickly as possible.
